I love to cook no fuss/all frill meals that will leave people wondering if you spent all morning cooking. In reality, you will have spent it snuggled in bed with your loved ones thanks to my quick and simple meals. I’m also a big believer in the family meal. It’s so important to me that my son learn to eat balanced and healthy meals in the same way his parents enjoy them. For ONE) it makes things so easy for me (who wants to cook 2 meals??), but TWO) it helps build a foundation of healthy eating that I hope will last a lifetime. I’m not a fan of crash diets, fad diets, or any diets of any kind, so you won’t find those kinds of recipes here. What you will find are family friendly meals that will almost always be balanced, packed with as many fresh veggies as possible, and always yummy!

I’m a HUGE believer in parenting with intent and purpose (read more about that HERE). I love to empower and promote other moms so you will always find me oozing positivity and encouragement here and across the web. But most of all, I believe that the only person that knows what is best for your family is you. That’s why I chose to name this site ‘This is How I Mom’.
I believe we can all learn from each other- take the good and leave the bad. Don’t like paprika? Replace it with your favorite spice (or ask me for a recommendation). Not a fan of bed-sharing? That’s cool- what are you a fan of? Let’s chat! I’m always looking to connect and share ideas!
