My baby is crazy…

…and I have proof:

He’s recently started making those high-pitched noises and the raspberry blowing. I think it amuses him a lot… and us, of course. He’s also become completely obsessed with his feet when he’s on a flat surface…

It’s pretty cute. He doesn’t get them into his mouth yet, though. :D

Smiles

Over the last week or so, Logan’s smiles have really picked up. All it takes is one silly face from me or daddy; or even just one of us walking into the room after he hasn’t seen us for a bit. His smiles are getting very elaborate too! He’ll start smiling and if he’s still amused, he’ll stick out his tongue just a little bit. Then he’ll get shy about his smile and cover his face with his hands. It’s the cutest thing I’ve ever seen!

The little boy is really developing a personality. He’s a pretty shy, quiet observer a lot of the time, but when he wants to talk, this boy can talk. He has loooong conversations with us – but only if he feels secure in his environment and knows the people he’s around. I’m not sure how much of an indication of his future personality these early stages are, but if it does keep up, he’ll be a shy, observant, loving, amiable little boy.

Whether or not that’ll hold true, I can’t wait to see him develop further. It’s been such a joy to see him grow into the alert 10 1/2 week old he is now – I’m sure that feeling will increase tenfold as he gets older and older.

It’s official.

I’m completely in love with my son.
